Shannon's pathway of the psoas course is a true gem. My takeaways were many, but the main gift I received was ritual. I begin to write in my journal more, listen to the interiority of my body more, and I personally loved just paying more attention to my dreams and dream journaling. The movement videos were truly amazing, Shannon is such a great teacher on so many levels. Her experience really shines through as well as her dedication to her own movement and spiritual practices. One of the things and excavating from this work is how to listen and care to myself versus using my movement practice to fix or escape discomfort in my body. I really loved this course. It was real and honest and I appreciate her openness. Even her voice set a tone where I felt able to be honest and open and brave to the work and the information that she presented to us. There is so much deep diving to do! I could imagine a month-long course on this just one module with you as my guide and exploring and going deeper with a group of people. I really felt a deep sense of trust with you as our guide. The sense of community help me to feel connected and get to work more into my body and out of my brain. All of the various modalities help to reconnect me to the parts of me that I have been neglected or that I am scared to enter again after injury or disappointment. Your course gave me another way in. "I started working with Shannon three years ago. I came to her with a shoulder issue I had had for over a year and never having done Pilates did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least! Shannon is the best instructor!
